So people, you see I'm Lydia. I was born and raised in Istanbul, Turkey. Which is a gorgeous city. I still live there and love it. I basicly suck at writing short bio's or a long one.. doesn't matter. I just let you know I'm not the best writer ever, but I'll do my best.
I go to a public high school called Istanbul High School, and I study: Maths, Deutsch, Literature, History, AP Maths, Chemistry and bla bla bla.. ooh, and genetics.
I grew up in church and I still go to church every single Sunday. I guess that's why I'm such a goody goody. I don't exactly have fun at church, but I don't hate church either. My church can be fun. We sing a lot of Gospel and dance around and what not. So sometimes, I have fun. I know one day, church will mean more to me, but right now, I think I just go to socialize with my church friends and sing in the choir.
One of my favorite things to do is taking photographs! I'm totally in love with my camera and I take it to everywhere I go. The other thing is dancing. I love to dance a lot. I always wanted to be a ballerina but, it didn't really work out well. Other than the church, I can tell that I grew up in a taverna. Taverna is some kind of a restaurant and a place to dance, but not like a disco. It's a place where we Greeks dance traditionally. My favorite one is Sirtaki.
Well, it would be really awkward if I did not mention my passion to dance here. I LOVE dancing but it's not really a go to a club and shake your ass off type of dance. I do dance sport which includes; cha cha, paso doble, samba, jive. Those are mainly International Latin. Besides that Argentina Tango is my passion also!
In the day time, I have my iPod on all the time. I adore music. Like Mustafa Kemal Ataturk said "Music is the nutrition of the soul". I totally believe in that, Ataturk was a great person in the Turkish history. I'm not Turkish but since I live there and I wouldn't be able to do what I'm doing now, if he didn't make the Turkish race fight against the others in the WWI.
Well, that's a long story. I can tell you guys about that later.
Back to the topic "music". I really adore Σάκης Ρουβάς. Haha.. you couldn't read that, could you? (Jeez! What kind of a mean person am I) That guy I'm talking about is Sakis Rouvas. You might know him. I really like his songs, and his style of music. He's a super hot huy (for me) and a great dancer! Oh, I'd give my everything to be his dancer. Well, yea apart from my platonic love Sakis, I like listening to Helena Paparizou, Haris Alexiou, Sertab, Fazil Say, Tarkan..Yea.. here comes Sakis For you guys.

I have a big family guys, we live all together in a house. I live with my parents, grandparents, and my sister. My sister is younger than me she's just 10. It's a really different feeling, seeing my sister growing up. Man! I'm getting older. I just remember that she was a little baby.. and it feels like it was just yesterday. Time goes past people.
I love watching musicals. I love: Wicked, The Mikado, Annie Get Your Gun, Cats, Les Miserables, Phantom of the Opera, Hair Spray, The Rent, Spam a lot, Oklahoma, West Side Story... hmm this is all I could remember for now. But my list is really long. I'm totally a musical freak.
I'm not really a TV person. I don't even have a favorite tv show. Well, wait a minuite I do! It's Kyle XY! I really like that one, right now I rented the DVDs and I'm on Seson 1-Episode 6. It's really exciting. But I don't really think that he's an alien.
Ooh, as we said alien, I like Sting to. *sings* I'm an alien, I'm a legal alien...I'm an English man in New York
Last but not least i'm a vintage freak. I love everything which is vintage. And I own a Leica M8!
